Working under the influence of the Beltane energy where the veils between worlds are at their thinnest and magickal energy is especially strong…
Working with the Sex/Magic dynamic between Libra-Taurus (quincunx).
Taurus principles (grounding, security, finance) take Libra to the next level (raises Kundalini); and Libra energy heals Taurus (through serving with justice, equality and beauty). We’ll discuss, journal and process this powerful relationship between the New Moon in Taurus and Saturn in Libra and how it will affect our relationship to self and others over the next six months.
It’s time to delve into the realms of Venus: love, money, food and relationships. We have recently had the celestial push to help us break free of ancient relationship patterns that no longer serve us. Are we still stubbornly clinging to past attachment? Now it is time to look at our relationship with ourselves. Do we value ourselves? How do we allow others to treat us? What does our relationship with food look like? Are we nourishing ourselves properly? What does our relationship with money look like? Do we respect it? Expect it? Are we still holding deep unconscious fears that we’ll never have enough?
It’s time to look at the many relationships in our lives and use the Taurus energy to ground spirit back into the body, and reclaim our relationship with the earth element.
We will be working with Venus, the planet of love. Using sigils for the planet plus a few from our own book of shadows we will cast a spell to bring genuine enduring love into our lives as well as those around us.
Candles and herbs will be provided for spell.
Working with the Hierophant (Taurus) and Empress (Venus) archetypes.
This is an important message. When things are going very wrong in the world, it is the Hierophant who wades in, quiets the panic, and offers good, practical advice as well as spiritual assurances. He is the teacher, therapist, counselor, advisor, priest or rabbi. He answers questions people would ask of the divine, but also acts as the voice of the community, speaking for the people as well as to them.
The Hierophant symbolizes the community’s traditions, ethics and faith, the spirituality that defines and unifies them, generation to generation. “Remember where you came from,” this card tells you, “the traditions of your forefathers, the lessons of your faith, and you will know how to survive this crisis.” In the most dire times of loss and fear, the Hierophant is there to remind you that you are never alone.-Aecletic Tarot
The Empress card is one of the easier trumps to read. She’s the Great Mother, so much so that she’s often viewed as one of those cards that can indicate a “positive” answer if a woman is wondering if she can get pregnant. This is the fertile womb where anything can grow and thrive (as compared to the protective “incubator” of the High Priestess). The Empress’ ability to mother goes beyond the womb, however. She is patient, loving, giving, generous, devoted. The ultimate nurturer.-Aeclectic Tarot
